Center Stage Studio is CST’s year-round education program, offering theater classes for youth, teens, and adults in McMinnville and the surrounding area. Our classes are designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and develop skills in acting, musical theater, improv, and technical theater.

Whether you are stepping on stage for the first time or looking to refine your craft, you will find a supportive, inclusive space where you can learn, grow, and collaborate with others who share your passion for the performing arts.

We believe that theater should be accessible to everyone, and that the skills learned here go far beyond the stage, building communication, empathy, and teamwork that last a lifetime.

Each 6-week session offers the time and focus to develop new skills, explore creativity, and gain confidence while working toward a final showcase or project. Throughout the year, students can select sessions that focus on different aspects of theater, such as acting, musical theater, improv, or technical production, allowing them to build a well-rounded skill set at their own pace.

From scene work and character development to set design and lighting, our programs open the door to every corner of the theater world. Students leave with practical skills, lasting friendships, and the confidence to step into any role, on stage or off.

In addition to our regular sessions, Center Stage Studio offers one-time master classes led by guest artists and specialists. These intensive workshops provide opportunities to dive deep into a specific topic, try something new, and gain insider tips from working theater professionals.

We acknowledge that we live and operate in what is now known as Yamhill, Clackamas, and Marion Counties, on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded lands of the Kalapuya, Molalla, and Clackamas peoples. We express our deep gratitude to these Indigenous nations, who have cared for this land for generations and who continue to live, lead, and create here today.
